Crokers Coach Tours have arrived in Lille. Now checked in at Hostel Gastama and off to registration at Bar Oz for a few bevvies!

Hi all, got to Lille nice and early. Got our heads down and found something to eat ready for tonights round of drinks.
Had a breakdown at 6pm whilst giving the car its last little run before the off in the early hours. The main oil supply pipe to the camshafts from the oil pump decided to spring a leak. Two hours later all fixed and and a fault free run to Lille ensued.

Hayley (now with a slow puncture) and Vera (with a slow driver) arrived Folkestone - looks like they'll make it abroad at least. Not easy punching in your booking number with a drivers window that won't go down...last of that problem since passenger window perfect. Continental toll booths here we come. Last call gotta go x

Ferry made, we've moved on from Dunkirk to Ypres (a favourite stop off of ours), refuelling with beers and snacks.

Teams wandering arms and night fever running late and going to miss the 11-50 ferry. Heading for the 13:30 Dover Calais on my ferry link.

Stuck on the M25 need to catch the 11.50 and be there for 11.20.....cutting it fine.

Team MLG in missing the 12pm sailing shocker!

The morning before the actual race but for us the travel begins today. We are eager and raring to go now after a few months of preparations. We will be heading down to Folkestone from Leicester for the 11.20 EuroTunnel to Calais in our M reg Mercedes C200, so if you see us do give us a honk or a wave. 

We can not believe we have actually made it, after our original car becoming unfit for purpose only 4 days ago on Monday and us only getting our replacement car at 5pm yesterday. 

It's our first Wacky Rally and we are sure it will be all the fun we expect and much more!
