Back On Our Way
So our original car, E-Class, broke down before we got on the trip then the day before the trip bought a C-Class.
Unfortunately the C-Class broke down in Brussels and we where there for 13 hours trying to get it back on the road.
We have now had to get into a rental so unfortunately will not be in our £300 banger but still looking forward to all the jokes and banter.
It's 1:30am and we have just left Brussels for Thun 650km looking to reach at 6:58am then hopefully join you all for the next leg of the rally.
Emotions and spirits have been high and low but we are at least back on the road and hopefully finally making progress.
Wish us luck.

Team Goat's 'little' ditty...
There was a team named Goat, who crafted an excellent boat.
It was a breath taking sight, all gleaming in white, about which they were quite happy to gloat.
For days they slaved forging metal and wood, not that they minded, they knew it would look good.
They polished and lackered until they were knackered, so the ship looked as it should.
As the maiden voyage loomed, the check engine light was a glow, feeling like they were doomed they debated if they should go. But they were made of stern stuff and were sure the car was good enough.
So they cast off Sent from my iPhone
To Lille they made haste, their journey well paced. They made a pit stop in Ypres, where the food was tasty, though the prices were steep.
They continued on and reached Lille with time to spare, tired and achy but they didn't really care. The sun was still shining and beers were cold. They headed out to Oz bar like they'd been told.
Registered for the rally, they mingled with newbies and vets, on who would drop-out they all took bets. A 'few' beers were sunk and then they rolled home, to get some sleep so they'd be ready to roam.
Up bright and breezy and off to the car park. Hoping the first impression of the boat would make its mark.
An amazing array of cars were on show and by the time they turned up they were ready to go.
They all set off eager to get going, fingers still crossed they wouldn't need towing.
The trusty Saab rolled on, exhaust blowing like a chimney. Onwards they went, Rocking to Rimini!
